Hello AP Status!

Once upon a time, I was not dealing with chronic pain and I spent a lot of my free time in the parks. Then debilitating sciatica set in and I tried to use my very expensive annual pass but failed miserably. When it was time to renew I was only 3 weeks post operation so we decided to wait it out. Well, we are almost exactly 4 months out and we have decided to use the parks as my ongoing therapy (both physically and mentally).

Bucket List items

One of the things that I have noticed as a passholder, I don’t do like anything in the parks. I have my favorite foods, my favorites rides, I wander, then I bail. While scrolling through Epcot’s map this week, I realized there are so many things that I have never done. This is baffling because I have been a Florida resident since birth, I had family that worked at Disney, I worked at Disney one summer, and I have been an on again off again passholder since 2018ish.

With all of the Mickey’s Not So Scary and Very Merry Christmas Parties going on, I’ve decided to save Magic Kingdom’s bucket list for later. I am going to start with Epcot and Animal Kingdom because they are my favorite parks. For Epcot out of 41 attractions in their park I have done 20 of them which isn’t terrible but considering how long I have had a pass, it is sad. As far as entertainment, the only one I have purposely stopped to watch is Matsuriza in Japan. I have stumbled upon a handful of others though. Dining will end up being its own thing later on. (I have also realized that despite Epcot being one of my favorite parks, I have no photos of it.)

Animal Kingdom has 47 listed attractions and I have done 37 of them which is significantly better but I feel like there is still a lot I am missing.

The Journal Page

I’ve started my Epcot attractions journal page and despite having done some of these things already, I am going to leave them all unchecked and make my way through the park like everything is brand new to me. With Food & Wine currently going on, most of our current activities will probably involve eating our way through the countries. I will keep you updated on that! I am also really excited for the cookie stroll. I wanted to go so bad last year but my pain levels were too high to also manage walking through park so I missed it.

    October Bucket List

Several years ago I started creating bucket lists for different parts of the year. Sometimes I do smaller ones for the month while other years I do seasonal ones. If I am being totally honest, it is usually Spring and Summer then October, November, December, and January each get their own individual bucket lists because…
